AMC API: HTTP 410 on instance-level calls

The instance-level APIs were retired on August 1, 2024 and may return 410; the fix is migrating to the AMC APIs on the Amazon Ads API.

Symptom

Calls to the old instance-level endpoints answer with 410.

Cause

Amazon officially retired the instance-level APIs as of August 1, 2024.

Fix

  1. Migrate to the AMC APIs on the Amazon Ads API (migration guide).
  2. Update the S3 bucket policy so results keep arriving in the connected bucket.

The cause follows the Amazon documentation. Some of the fix steps are our own judgement and do not replace asking Amazon support.
